Who I am...
A graduate of Ashford University with Bachelors' degrees in both Public Relations/Marketing and Business Administration. Community Relations/Marketing are specific areas of business that I am passionate about. I enjoy the ability to assist organizations in conveying a consistent message, engaging the target audience and creating a positive public image.
For 2 years, I worked as the Executive Director of the Mead Area Chamber of Commerce and had the opportunity to collaborate with the Town of Mead on various events and projects. The experience gained from this collaboration between the Mead Area Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Mead has provided me with a wealth of knowledge about the local community and skills I never would have gained without that experience.
And this is what I am looking for...
A career in the social media marketing field. Event coordination and Social Media engagement are areas of Public/Community Relations and Marketing that I truly enjoy and have a passion for. Ensuring that I assist the organization in portraying a positive community image is my personal goal. No matter what the situation requires, my passion for the organization will be seen through my work.
In other words...
Many times I have been complimented on my attention to detail, organizational skills and work ethic. I love making sure that all parties involved are pleased with the outcome of my efforts. Community relations/marketing are perfect for me because the allow me to assist organizations in building and maintaining a positive image while interacting with the public.
I am passionate about the fact that businesses of every shape and size need to use marketing and community relations to their advantage in engaging their target audience. There is a science to being successful in marketing; it is not an easy for businesses to navigate; finding the right strategy and best content to engage your target audience is a skill that must be cultivated.
